Knight's Triptych

Spring 1995 - This early work created in Fractal Design Painter mixed comic book illustration with Chinese ink monochrome. The left wing of the triptych is full of symbols, both personal and from traditional Chinese culture. The centerpiece is a battle scene depicting Shadow Dragon and Alyssa. The right wing shows constellations of the four symbols of peace. According to Chinese mythology, the Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn (Kirin) and Tortoise appear during times of peace and prosperity.
